About The Rocky Mountain Fisher House Foundation
The Rocky Mountain Fisher House Foundation supports the Rocky Mountain Fisher House located on the campus of the VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO.
The House provides FREE lodging to military and Veteran family members while their loved one is receiving medical care. We believe a Veteran or service member should never be alone in a medical crisis because emotional support from family is important.
The house has 16 suites and can accommodate 32 family members at a time. The house features a common kitchen, laundry facilities, spacious dining room and an inviting living room with a library as well as elevators.
The Foundation's mission is to make sure all of the families staying with us have the comforts of a real home, cable TV, a full pantry and refrigerator, as well as transportation because many families come from out of state to stay at our home.
Thank you for your support! Our military and veteran families appreciate your help.
