Marie Moll was widower of a 22-year Air Force veteran and had a passion to help those who served. She was a member of the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Fisher House Foundation for 25-years and she also was the American Legion Auxiliary representative while on the board. Since 1998, she volunteered to go and get food staples at the Buckley Air Force Base commissary and then deliver it to Denver Fisher House. She was dedicated to making sure the pantry and refrigerator were full for the military and veteran families staying at the house. Marie was also a speaker for the Foundation and over the years she spoke a several different events including veterans group and to over 200 people at a Aurora Realtors' luncheon. She was proud to enlighten others about the mission of the Fisher House and how to support the families and heroes staying there. At the age of 90, Marie still attended board meetings regularly and a few years later the Foundation gave Marie the honorary title of Board Member Emeritus. The Foundation is grateful for Marie's outstanding service to the board and also for her dedication to give back to those we consider to be our greatest national treasure.
